Fried Chicken wings is a popular starter that tastes crispy and delicious and marks a perfect beginning to a meal. This recipe is simple to put together with basic ingredients in the pantry. I would prefer sweetcorn soup + chicken wings combo. You can even swap the chicken wings with breast or thigh pieces. Still tastes great! A crowd pleaser and kids favorite as well!!

Ingredients
- Chicken wings – 10
- Eggs – 2
- Maida – 5 tbsp
- Cornflour – 3 tbsp
- Kashmiri chilli powder – 3 tsp (Add regular chilli powder for a more spicy flavor)
- Garam masala – 2 tsp
- Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
- Szechuan sauce/Chilli paste – 5 tsp
- Soy sauce – 2 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
- Mint and Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
- Water – 1/4 cup+4 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – to deep fry
Procedure
- Clean the chicken wings and pat it dry with a paper towel.
- Take a bowl and add eggs, maida, cornflour, kashmiri chilli powder, szechuan sauce, soy sauce, ginger garlic paste, garam masala, pepper, mint and coriander leaves, salt.
- Add water in small quantities and mix it well.


- ‘The batter should not be too thick or too watery so be cautious while adding water.

- Heat oil in a pan.
- Dip each chicken wing in the batter and deep fry till done and crisp.





- Serve hot with szechuan sauce or any spicy dip.

Notes
- After washing chicken wings, pat dry with paper towel and then proceed.
- Taste the batter for seasoning else the chicken may taste bland.
- First start frying the chicken in full flame, then put the flame to medium and cook it. This way the chicken will be cooked even.
